Proverbs – New Living Translation (NLT)*

There are 31 Proverbs in the Bible. One for every day of the month (and a bonus πŸ‘ on months that don’t have 31 days.)

There are numerous translations of the Bible and none of the historical writings were in English. The Bible has been translated into many languages from the biblical languages of Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. As of October 2017 the full Bible has been translated into 670 languages, the New Testament alone into 1,521 languages and Bible portions or stories into 1,121 other languages.*

I always found the “King James Version”* difficult to understand πŸ€”. Some people refuseΒ πŸ˜” to read any other English translation because the KJV was written before copyrights, but I believe that, if I don’t understand it, why read itβ“β”πŸ˜²β”β“

Years ago, I was introduced to “The Living Bible”*. I found this “paraphrased” version very easy to understand.

Today, they have re-translated it into “The New Living Translation”*.
